Frog and Toad are best of friends, as you know if you are familiar with Arnold Lobel’s stories.  In the story “The Garden” Frog is busily tending his flower garden when Toad walks by and seeing Frog’s magnificent flowers, and wishes for his own garden. Toad gives him some seeds and tells him, “It is nice, but it was hard work.”  Plant the seeds in the ground and soon you will have a garden, encourages Frog.  “How soon?” asks Toad, and Frog assures him, that it will be “quite soon.”  You can perhaps guess the outcome and the lessons learned.

You may have a friend with the wisdom of Frog, or you may be looking for a program, that gives you some insight into the process of growing an organic vegetable garden.  If so, our garden internship program could be just what you are craving.  We have divided it into three sections, preparing and planting from May 1st to June 30th, cultivating and maintaining fro July 1st to August 31st, and harvesting and putting the garden to rest for the winter, September 1st to October 31st.

The garden internship also includes the Art of Living Course.  Simple and practical, it uses the rhythms of the breath as a tool to release stress and bring more naturalness to life.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to discover Sahaj Samadhi meditation a technique that effortlessly stills the mind.  When the mind settles down, it lets go of stress and tension.

Bring peace to the soul, work with the earth, and come closer to Mother Nature.
